
Jamshedpur: The recently renovated Office of Corporate Communications, Tata Steel was inaugurated today. In a significant gesture to mark the occasion of Women�s Day today� Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President Corporate Services, Tata Steel handed over the task of inaugurating the Office to the ladies present on the occasion, who did the honours with zest and elegance.
Kulvin Suri, Chief, Corporate Communications (India & SEA), Tata Steel Farzan R Heerjee, Chief Protocol & Special Projects, Tata Steel, Shahnawaz Alam, Vice President, TWU and other senior officials of Tata Steel were also present on the occasion.

The inauguration ceremony began with a symbolic tree plantation by the dignitaries to usher in a green environment for the new premises. Thereafter, the traditional ribbon cutting took place after which there was a facility tour. Speaking on the occasion, Chanakya Chaudhary stressed on the importance of the Corporate Communications function and its relevance to the internal and external stakeholders and wished great times ahead for the department in the new office.
The new Office besides new age, modern work areas for employees is also equipped with a Media Briefing Room. Starting 3 April 2019, the Corporate Communications office will operate from its original premises at 4, Armoury Road, Jamshedpur.
