Jamshedpur: Arjun Munda to inaugurate 75th Edition of Steel City Golf Tournament  

Jamshedpur: The landmark 75th Edition of the Steel City Golf Tournament is set to tee off from January 16 to 18, 2026, a milestone in the sporting legacy of Jamshedpur. Avid golfer and former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Arjun Munda, will inaugurate the prestigious tournament at Golmuri Golf Course, adding further significance to the platinum jubilee edition of the event. He will also showcase his golfing skills at the greens.

Participation in the tournament will be by several senior officials and dignitaries, including Jamshedpur Golf Captain D. B. Sundar Ramam, Vice President – Corporate Services, Tata Steel Limited; Jamshedpur Golf Secretary Neeraj Kumar Sinha, Chief – Safety, Tata Steel Limited; and Jamshedpur Golf CEO Alan Singh, among others.

The tournament will be jointly organized across the lush and scenic 18-hole courses of Beldih Golf Course and Golmuri Golf Course. Known for their challenging layouts and picturesque surroundings, the twin venues are expected to provide an exciting competitive platform for participants.

Over 250 golfers from major cities, including Patna, Bhubaneswar, Paradip, Ranchi, Delhi, and Jamshedpur, will take part in the three-day event, alongside a strong representation from the local golfing fraternity. The wide participation reflects the growing stature of the Steel City Golf Tournament on the national golfing calendar.
