Chandil: The Registrar of Jharkhand Rahul Kumar Purwar inspected Chandil Dam on Thursday and took stock of the progress of pisciculture development measures being taken there.
He held a meeting with the members of Chandil Dam Fishery Cooperative Limited. He also visited Shish Mahal to see archaeological remains. He said there was immense possibility of developing Chandil Dam into a tourist hotspot.
Thereafter, Purwar visited the feed mill being set up near Chandil. He said the feed mill should start production by August.
He praised the efforts of the cooperative committee members and asked them to continue working towards better production of fishes in the dam.
