Chandil: The tribal communities of villages situated in and around Dalma foothill area have unanimously decided to celebrate Sendra on 12th May.
The meeting was held at Tribal Culture Centre, Sonari, on Thursday.
Demka Soy, a representative of Ho community, said celebrating Sendra (ritual hunting festival of tribal people) on 12th May was in accordance with the tradition of the tribal people of the district.
He said there was however no bar on celebrating the festival on 19th May.
