ReEnvision 3.0 at XLRI Jamshedpur: Exploring the impact of data on consumer digital transformation

Jamshedpur: The Conclave Committee of XLRI Jamshedpur’s PGDM (GM) Batch 2024-25 successfully hosted ReEnvision 3.0, a Digital Transformation Conclave themed “Data-Driven Transformation in the Consumer World.” The event brought together a distinguished panel of leaders from the Banking, Technology, and Core Engineering sectors, including COOs, Directors, Founders, Digital Heads, Managing Directors, Country Heads, and General Managers. These industry stalwarts shared their invaluable insights on India’s data-driven digital transformation across the consumer world, inspiring the students and professionals in attendance.

The conclave commenced with an inaugural address by Fr. S George S.J., Director of XLRI Jamshedpur, along with Fr. Donald D’Silva, S J, Dean of Administration & Finance, and Prof. Dr. Sanjay Patro. Fr. S. George expressed gratitude to the speakers for their participation and inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp. He emphasized the significance of digital transformation through data and encouraged an exchange of ideas to inspire the students’ mindsets. Fr. Donald D’Silva and Prof. Dr. Sanjay Patro also addressed the audience, thanking the organizing committee and urging students to leverage data and digital transformation in their future endeavors.

The event featured several panel discussions, starting with the theme “Strategic Partnerships and Alliances: Harnessing Digital Tools for Competitive Collaboration.” Panelists included  Ashish Ranjan, Chief Digital Officer of National Engineering Industries Ltd. (NBC Bearings), who highlighted the importance of strategic partnerships and authentic communication;  Girish Dangayach, Chief Digital Officer of SK Finance Limited, who advocated for solutions rooted in a deep understanding of customer needs;  Ashish Pandey, Global CIO, CDTO, CDIO of Dabur India Limited, who emphasized digital collaboration tools for customer relationship building; and  Ramasubramaniam S, Senior Vice President of Collabera Digital, who spoke on continuous improvement and innovation to meet customer demands. The panel was moderated by Amith Shaju, a PGDM (GM) student at XLRI.

The next panel discussion focused on “Data Analytics Contribution to Consumer Goods Industry & E-Commerce.” Panelists included  Satyaki Mookerjee, Chief Digital Officer of CEAT, who discussed innovative solutions and strategic partnerships;  Digvijay Ghosh, Consumer Product & Retail Sector & Digital Commerce Partner at EY-Parthenon, who spoke about adapting to digital disruptions and continuous learning;  Nitin Dhingra, Chief Digital Officer of Hindware Limited, who highlighted leveraging data analytics for personalized customer experiences; and  Ravi Kumar, Chief Digital Officer of Exide Industries Limited, who talked about integrating digital tools for operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. This panel was moderated by Madhumeta Rajkumar, another PGDM (GM) student.

Post-lunch, the third panel discussion centered on “Leveraging Data Analytics for Marketing,” featuring  Sushil Pradhan, Executive Director & COO of MitKat Advisory, who discussed AI intervention and tech team emergence; Ms. Ipshita Ghosh, Managing Director of Accenture, who emphasized life-centric customer approaches and predictive analysis;  Vikrant Bhargava, Chief Digital Officer of inMorphis, who focused on real-time data usage in B2B and B2C cycles;  Amreesh Kher, Chief Business Officer-Insurance of Tata Digital, who shared insights on dynamic market strategies;  Sunil Palrecha, Chief Digital Officer of Wissen Technology, who talked about trust in B2B sales; and  Bhargab Dutta, Chief Digital Officer of Century Ply, who discussed leveraging data and strategy for market growth. The panel was moderated by Preeti Rawat, a PGDM (GM) student.
