Jamshedpur, Dec. 11: Kerala Public School (KPS), Kadma, celebrated �Youth Fest� on Friday at the school premises. The day saw a number of off-stage and on-stage events for juniors, senior as well as super senior students.
There were in all 33 events for three categories. The events which followed were like Kinetic, Origami, website designing, face painting, eastern songs and dance, western songs, quizzes and others. Altogether 320 children were awarded for different events. Rolling trophies were also presented to winning and runners-up teams. All competitions were House-based. Red House (Valour) was declared winners with 213 points and the runners-up trophy was awarded to the Pink House (Love), which bagged 205 points.
This was followed by the prize distribution which was done by the school principal.
KPS director, Sharat Chandran was the chief guest on the occasion. The event was inaugurated jointly by the chief guest and the principal Sharmila Mukherjee. The teachers and students worked together to make this programme a grand success.
