Jamshedpur, July 11: Indian Red Cross Society, Jamshedpur chapter, organized a felicitation ceremony to welcome its new DC cum president Ravi Shankar Shukla and give farewell to the outgoing president and former DC Amit Kumar.
Addressing the gathering, Amit Kumar said Red Cross is a centre of positive energy. He said Red Cross members and volunteers serve the society through thick and thin and set an example of selfless service for one and all.
Kumar said he had learnt a lot from the activities of Red Cross and that he would always remember the good work done by the organization.
Red Cross members presented a letter of appreciation and shawl to Amit Kumar in the presence of Ravi Shankar Shukla, SDO Chandan Kumar and other members.
Among others present during the programme included Govind Prasad Dodrajka, Vikas Singh, Balmukund Goyal and Vijay Singh.
