Recognition to high value suggestions winners at TRF

Jamshedpur, April 16: Winners of high value awards for suggestions made in products and operations at TRF Limited were jointly awarded by its managing director PS Reddy and Rakeshwar Pandey in the presence of senior employees, including senior officers and committee members of Tata Robins Fraser Labor Union (TRFLU).

The chairman of the Suggestion Box Committee, Ashish Banerjee submitted a report on the achievements by the committee in the financial year 2015-16 and shared targets for the current year.

Rakeshwar Pandey, president, TRFLU, appreciated the role of the committee and employees in making the suggestion box scheme an important tool for improvement. He said that the growth in the number of suggestions and savings from them was highly appreciable.

PS Reddy said that the suggestion box scheme was a vital tool for making improvements in the company. However, he emphasized on the need for making rapid growth in the number of employees participating in the scheme. He said that the scheme was an important tool for enabling employees to contribute in the areas of health and safety, governance, customer satisfaction, cost reduction and quality.

RK Rahi, general secretary, TRFLU, while proposing the vote of thanks, assured the senior leadership that every effort would be made to meet the higher expectations and targets set by them.

TRF Ltd is a pioneer in engineering and supply of material handling equipment and systems for five decades. TRF has recently acquired Hewitt Robins Fraser Limited, UK, to enhance it scale of bulk material equipment and make a more meaningful presence in both European and Indian markets and the sub-continent.
