Gamharia: A grand rath yatra procession was organized n Gamharia on Sunday. A large number of devotees participated in the event.
Devotees chanted names of Lord Jagannath, his brother Balram and sister Subhadra throughout the procession which moved through various parts of the city.
The chariot of Lord Jagannath was received with warmth and shower of flowers at various places. The devotees made a beeline to pull the chariot.
The state Adivasi welfare minister Champai Soren was also present on the occasion. He pulled the chariot and wished the devotees.
