Jamshedpur. The local court has sentenced Dhananjay Singh to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment for raping a 14-year-old minor and taking her obscene photographs in the year 2020 in Galudih police station area. Along with this, a fine of one thousand rupees was also imposed. While the accused other Narendra Singh was acquitted due to lack of evidence. Nine people have testified in this case. The case was heard by the court of Special POCSO Judge Sirish Dutt Tripathi. In connection with the incident, the victim’s mother had lodged an FIR against Dhananjay and his partner Narendra in Galudih police station. In which she told the police that her daughter was scared and nervous a week before the incident. When asked the reason, she told that when she was returning home from the village shop at 2 pm, Dhananjay forcibly took her to his semi-constructed building and raped her, meanwhile he also took her obscene photographs on his mobile which he sent to Narendra’s mobile. After this, the police came into action and arrested both of them and sent them to jail.
