Ranchi, April 30: Jharkhand’s academic landscape witnessed a remarkable feat as the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) announced the class 12th results, reflecting a pass percentage of 85.88 overall.

The data revealed that girl students emerged as state toppers in all three streams, with Sneha excelling in Science with 98 2 percent, Pratibha in Commerce with 94 8 percent, while Zeenat clinched the top spot in Arts with 94 4. The results delineated a success rate of 72.70 percent in Science, 90.60 percent in Commerce, and 93.7 percent in Arts.

A total of 3,44,000 candidates appeared for the 12th examination, comprising 94,433 in Science, 25,907 in Commerce, and 2,24,502 in Arts. The success of girl students underlined their academic prowess and commitment to excellence.

Koderma leads Jharkhand Inter Science Results

Koderma district secured the top position in the Jharkhand Inter Science results, boasting a pass percentage of 91.080 percent. Following closely, Latehar secured the second position with 89.400 percent, while Chatra district clinched the third spot with 85.390 percent.

Jamtara and Hazaribagh districts secured the fourth and fifth positions, respectively, with pass percentages of 82.080 and 81.940. However, Khunti district reported the lowest pass percentage in the state, standing at 47.490 percent.

 

Sneha Kumari tops Jharkhand Inter Science Exams

Sneha Kumari, a student of Ursuline Inter College, Ranchi, emerged as the state topper in the Inter Science examinations, scoring 491 marks. Ritika Kumari from the same college secured the second position with 482 marks, followed by Pankaj Kumar Sahu of Baijnath Jalan College Sisai, with 480 marks.

Amit Kumar Mehta from BS Inter College, Kunwarbandh Patan, and Aastha Priyadarshini from Ursuline Inter College jointly secured the fourth position with 477 marks each. Additionally, Srishti Kumari from Ursuline Inter College and Taskin Kausar secured the fifth position with 474 marks each.

Latehar District leads Jharkhand Inter Commerce Results

Latehar district secured the top position in the Jharkhand Inter Commerce results, achieving a pass percentage of 98.380 percent. Following closely, Koderma secured the second position with 97.950 percent, while Simdega district clinched the third spot with 96.930 percent.

Pakur and Hazaribagh districts secured the fourth and fifth positions, respectively, with pass percentages of 96.620 and 96.050. Sahebganj district reported the lowest pass percentage in the state, standing at 78.140.

Pratibha Sinha tops Jharkhand Inter Commerce Exams

Ranchi: Pratibha Sinha, a student of Ursuline Inter College, Ranchi, secured the top position in the Jharkhand Inter Commerce examinations, scoring an impressive 474 marks. The students of Ursuline Inter College have proven their talent by claiming seven out of the top positions in the state.

Riya Kumari secured the second position with 472 points, followed by Srishti Kumari at third place with 470 points. Shreya Kashyap secured the fourth position with 468 points, while Aanchal Kumari and Sana Parveen jointly secured the fifth position with 466 points each. Shivani Kumari secured the sixth position with 465 points, followed by Ujala Kumari at the seventh position.

Additionally, Srishti Kumari from Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav College, Koderma, secured the eighth position with 463 points, while Parishi Kumari from Ursuline Inter College secured another notable position.

Simdega District leads Jharkhand Inter Arts Results

Simdega district has secured the top position in the Jharkhand Inter Arts results, boasting an exceptional pass percentage of 98.830 percent. Following closely, Khunti secured the second position with 97.800 percent, while Koderma district clinched the third spot with 97.480 percent.

Gumla and Hazaribagh districts secured the fourth and fifth positions, respectively, with pass percentages of 96.920 and 96.770. Palamu district reported the lowest pass percentage in the state, standing at 81.940.

Zeenat Parveen tops Jharkhand Inter Arts Exams

Zeenat Parveen, a student of Government Plus Two High School, Kanke, achieved the top position in the Jharkhand Inter Arts examinations, securing 472 marks. Bahmani Dhan from SS Plus Two High School, Khunti, secured the second position with 466 marks, followed by Deepali Kumari from Ursuline Inter College, Ranchi, who stood third in the state with 458 marks.

Rahat Parveen from Government Plus Two High School, Kanke, secured the fourth position with 456 marks, while Khushnuma Parveen secured the fifth position in the state with 455 marks.

Concerns arise as Jharkhand Science Exam results decline

Jharkhand witnessed a decline in Science exam results this year, with more than 25,000 students failing the examination. Out of 93,805 students who took the exam, only 72.70% managed to pass, marking a significant decrease from the previous pass percentage of 81.77%.

Among the 25,563 candidates who failed, 15,733 were boys and 9,830 were girls. The released results showed that 50,665 students passed with 1st division marks, 17,429 with 2nd division marks, and 107 with 3rd division marks.

The decline in results has raised concerns among education authorities and stakeholders, highlighting the need for further analysis and intervention to address the challenges faced by students in the Science stream.

JAC Chairman commends timely release of exam results

JAC Chairman Dr. Anil Kumar Mahato has lauded the organization’s commitment to timely result publication, emphasizing the simultaneous release of results for all three faculties. Dr. Mahato noted the enthusiasm among students and highlighted that despite a slight decline in the matriculation result compared to previous years, the performance of the top-ranking student was notably impressive. This synchronized release marks a significant milestone for JAC, reinforcing its dedication to efficient and punctual result dissemination.
