Ranchi on the way to become IT and medical hub: Raghubar Das

Ranchi, July 30: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that he will lay foundation stone for a new flyover to be constructed in Ranchi on 2nd October.

To sort out transportation problems in Ranchi, Metro rail and widening of roads are also being considered. He said it while laying foundation stone for vendor market in Jaipal Singh stadium. He said that the govt. is taking keen interest in the development of Ranchi and working in the direction so that the vendors can live their life with dignity. He said that in the time to come, green grocers will be also provided this type of facility.

Repeating his commitment to bring Ranchi on forefront with developed cities of the nation, the CM said that Ranchi is nearing towards becoming an IT and medical hub.

Apart from this, it is also on the way to become a tourist city. A revolving restaurant is to be opened soon in Birsa Munda Jail. He appealed to people to help the govt.

keep their city and state neat and clean. The CM said that the govt. is considering to give the responsibility of civil hospital to Narayana Hridyalaya.

For this, Dr. Shetty is coming to Ranchi in the first week of August.

Moreover, Dr. Rao, the veteran physician from Hyderabad for pancreas will also open a hospital in Ranchi. He will be given 10 acre land for this. Infosys will help in making the city an IT hub.

Remembering Bharat Ratna Prof. A.P. J. Abdul Kalam, he said that the govt. is going to develop the villages on his vision of �provision of all amenities in villages�.

The govt. is working seriously for the tribal and marginalized people. But some people are misguiding the people for their personal political benefits.

Even a single inch tribal land without the permission of the owner will not be taken and they will be given 4 times compensation against the value of their land which will be used for development.

He said that very soon, the govt. will construct urban haat, Ravindra bhawan and convention center in the capital.

On this occasion MLAs Ram Kumar Pahan, Jeetu Charan Ram, Mayor Asha Lakra, Deputy Mayor Sanjay Vijayvargese, Municipal Commissioner Prashant Kr. and other people were present.
