Ranchi: Police have arrested a tuition teacher for molesting a minor in state capital’s Ranchi on Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, a complaint was lodged by the victim’s family member after she narrated her ordeal to her parents.
A police officer told the media that the arrested has been identified as Amendar Singh and he used to take classes at his residence in Kokar area of the city.
According to the complaint filed by the family members of the minor, Singh after completing the classes on Tuesday evening asked the girl to stop in pretext of solving her queries.
The complaint further read that as other students left the room, Singh closed the door and started touching her inappropriately and on protesting the tutor told her it is a casual thing.
According to the complaint, she some how escaped and late in evening informed her parents about the ordeal.
The victim’s parent told the media that on learning about the incident they lodged a complaint against the teacher with the police.
