Early Morning Blaze at Ranchi Restaurant

Ranchi (IANS): A massive fire broke out at the Levee Bar and Restaurant in Ranchi’s Karamtoli Chowk area during the early hours of Tuesday. The inferno, which started around 5:00 AM, reduced the bar to ashes and sent thick plumes of black smoke over the busy locality.

Intense Firefight Prevents Larger Tragedy

Local residents first raised the alarm after noticing smoke billowing from the building. Multiple fire tenders rushed to the spot, battling intense flames that were visible from a considerable distance. Firefighters worked for several hours to contain the blaze, successfully preventing it from spreading to the densely packed shops and residential buildings nearby.

While the fire completely gutted the restaurant’s high-end furniture, kitchen appliances, and electrical equipment, officials confirmed there were no casualties. As the establishment was closed at the time, no staff or customers were inside when the fire broke out.
