Ranchi-based businessman found dead in Jamshedpur hotel

Jamshedpur, March 30: Ashwini Jaiswal (27), a land dealer based in Ranchi, who was staying in room number 405 of Hotel Deodutt in Sakchi, died here on Thursday. He was a resident of Hazaribagh Road, Lalpur, Ranchi near Devi Mandir. 

Sources said his health suddenly deteriorated in the hotel. A girl accompanying him informed the hotel staff about it and sought help.

According to sources, Ashwini was staying in the hotel since March 22 last. He had come to the city for some land deal. Earlier too, he used to come to the city on business trips. Suddenly his health deteriorated on Thursday morning due to which he fell on the bed. Alarmed, the girl reached the hotel reception screaming and informed the management. After getting the information, the hotel management called an ambulance and immediately took Ashwini to TMH where he was declared brought dead. The body of the deceased was sent to MGM Medical College for autopsy. 

Sanjay Jaiswal, father of the deceased, who reached the post-mortem house, said his son had died due to illness. He said his son suffered from many diseases including diabetes and hypertension. However, the police in their panchnama have written difficulty in breathing as the cause of death. Police have registered a case of unnatural death in this connection.
