Jamshedpur, March 5: Employees of Ramkrishna Forging Limited took the national safety pledge on the occasion of the National Safety Day on Saturday.
The national safety flag was unfurled and several activities with the objective of enhancing awareness were announced as part of safety awareness week.
Chairman Mahavir Prasad Jalan inaugurated the week. Some of the activities planned for the week include safety spot quiz, essay, poster and slogan competition. The safety department of the company has also planned safety mock drills, house competition and �nukkad natak.�
Speaking on the occasion, Jalan said that safety is the responsibility all employees. Every employee must work safely and ensure that his colleagues also conduct themselves safely.
Vijay Mishra, head of the plant, security officer Sanjay Kumar, HR manager Bhupendra Lodhi, and KN Dev were present on the occasion alongside the employees.
