Ramgarh, Jan 10: In a road accident that occurred at Chittarpur under the Rajrappa police station area on Wednesday morning, three individuals lost their lives, and four others sustained serious injuries. The victims, hailing from Chhatar village in Ramgarh, were en route to Parasnath to celebrate the New Year.
The accident transpired early in the morning when the Bolero carrying the group collided with a parked truck. Two individuals tragically lost their lives on the spot, while another succumbed to injuries at RIMS (Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences). Among the deceased are Teklal Mahato’s daughter-in-law and 2-year-old grandson, who lost their lives at the accident site. Additionally, the wife of the seriously injured Dharmendra Mahato passed away at RIMS.
The four seriously injured individuals have been rushed to RIMS for advanced medical treatment. Following the accident, the injured were initially taken to Ramgarh Sadar Hospital, where two individuals were declared dead. The bodies of the deceased are currently held at Ramgarh Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examinations.
