Jamshedpur, Jan 8: A meeting of Surya Mandir Committee was convened at Town Hall, Sidhgora, on Wednesday. It was chaired by the committee president Sanjeev Singh. Various issues pertaining to the temple management and installation of Ram Durbar at Ram Mandir in Sidhgora were discussed on this occasion.
Former Chief Minister Raghubar Das also attended the meeting. In his address, he said the sun temple was famous in the entire Jharkhand. He said local residents had long been demanding construction of temple of Lord Shri Ram. As a result, a temple has been built at Surya Mandir, he said.
Das said the idol installation ceremony would be organized in a grand manner. He appealed to all devotees to attend it in large numbers.
Others present at the meeting included Gunjan Yadav, Mantu Banerjee, LK Singh, Munna Agrawal, Deepak Mishra, Rambabu Tiwary, Pappu Mishra and Dhruv Mishra.
