Raksha Bandhan celebrated at Sheyn International School

Jamshedpur, August 18:  Sheyn International School celebrated Raksha Bandhan, an event aimed at fostering nationalism and reconnecting students with Indian traditions. In a world where teenagers are increasingly influenced by Western culture, the school continues to organize events that highlight the rich heritage of India. The Rakhi celebration saw girls tying rakhis on the wrists of teachers and fellow students, symbolizing bonds of protection and mutual respect.

The event was a vibrant affair, with students dressed in traditional Indian attire, creating an atmosphere of cultural pride. The distribution of sweets further enhanced the spirit of universal brotherhood, spreading messages of peace, friendship, and prosperity among the young participants.

The celebration was conducted under the guidance of Principal (Academics) Rama Srinavas, Principal (Administration) Pushpa Bhalla, Vice-Principal Keya Adak, and the Headmistress, along with the active participation of class teachers.
