Jamshedpur, July 10: Like every year, Marwari Mahila Manch�s Rakhi Mela 2015 began at the Agrasen bhawan in Sakchi on Monday.
The mela is being held for the last 17 years and would continue till July 13.
The prime target of the mela is to provide a common platform to the working class women as well as the homemakers.
Prabha Padia, president of Marwari Mahila Manch, said, all the members of the manch have put in huge effort to host the fair successfully.
On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan and Sindhara, the exhibition cum sale is organised were women entrepreneurs from Kolkata, Asansol, Dhanbad, Jaipur, Chaibasa and Ranchi put up stalls.
Several items like sarees, bedsheet, toys for children, bags, fashion jewellery, kurtis etc have been put for sale.
