Jamshedpur, July 7: The second day of Rakhi Mela saw a huge rush of women busy making purchases of designer rakhis and latest collection of sarees and dress material including handicraft items and household utilities. Social worker Arun Bakrewal and his wife Madhu Agrawal were the guests in the evening. They went around the stalls and appreciated the efforts of the women�s wing of the Rajasthan Yuvak Mandal for the attempt to provide a platform to women for their self reliance. Arun Bakrewal assured of his support to such endeavors.
The women�s wing secretary Sushila Khirwal informed that bracelet rakhis were in great demand. Pair Rakhis too were being sold like hot cakes. Bina Khirwal, Saraswati Agrawal, Laxmi Sharda, Gita Murarka, Mina Agrawal, Madhulika Mohanka, Asha Agrawal, Usha Agrawal, Kiran Agrawal and other women stated that latest designer collections were enticing visitors to various stalls in the fair. They specially mentioned the array of bracelet, thread, pearl and net rakhis on display and sale. Many visitors were seen enjoying the aromatic and delicious traditional snacks at the Rakhi Mela. The fair concludes on July 8
Rajkumar Barvalia, Murari Agrawal, Dinesh Kajria and others were also present at the fair.
