Jamshedpur, August 30: On the arrival of West Singhbhum MP cum newly appointed State Congress Working President Geeta Koda, Youth Congress State Secretary Rakesh Sahu along with his party members warmly greeted and welcomed her. On this occasion, Rakesh Sahu congratulated Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, RPN Singh for appointing a daughter of the land of Kolhan as state working president. Rakesh observed, “A new source of energy has been infused in the party with Geeta Koda’s appointment in the top state party leadership. The Congress wiil be further strengthened from the block to the state level.”
Singhbhum MP and newly appointed Congress state working president Geeta Koda assured that she would endeavor to fulfill the responsibility given by the party leadership. “The State government is being ably supported by the Congress party and it is the responsibility of every component of the government to live up to the promises made during the elections,” and added, “The wrong policies of the BJP led central government should be opposed vehemently by taking to the streets if necessary. I urge all party to work incessantly for the people by reaching out to the last person in society, learning about their problems and resolving them.”
