Jamshedpur, Aug 30 : Adityapur police raided the gambling den operating in Imli Chowk. Two persons were arrested from the den while others managed to escape. Police recovered Rs 2,300 in cash, three two wheelers, three mobiles, calculators, registers, gambling-related charts, papers, boards, posters and other items from the base. The arrested accused are Shyam Prakash Sahu of Adityapur Shere Punjab Chowk and Surendra Prasad of RIT Adityapur. The raid was carried out on the orders of the SP of Seraikela-Kharsawan. The SP formed a raiding team. The accused were arrested from the base. An FIR has been registered against all under the Gambling Act. (W-pb)
