Rajya Sabha candidate Parimal Nathwani meets PM, sparks political buzz in Jharkhand

Ranchi: BJP-backed Independent Rajya Sabha candidate Parimal Nathwani’s meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi has triggered fresh political speculation in Jharkhand ahead of the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections.

The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s residence and was officially described as a courtesy call. However, with the Rajya Sabha elections just days away, political observers believe the interaction carries significance beyond a routine meeting. Nathwani’s son, Dhanraj Nathwani, was also present during the visit.

While no official details about the agenda of the discussion have been disclosed, the timing of the meeting has drawn considerable attention in political circles. Various interpretations are being made regarding the interaction, particularly as political parties intensify their efforts to secure support for their candidates ahead of the June 18 election.
