Jamshedpur, Jan. 11: Tata Steel employee Rajesh Satdeve donated Plasma for a record fifth time on Monday, January 11. Satdeve has become the highest plasma donator in Jharkhand.
After recovering from Covid-19, Satdeve vowed to donate plasma immediately after defeating the virus which at the time was very much required for Corona affected patients. Satdeve began the plasma donation in September 2020 and since then he has been continuously involved.
Immediately after his donation at the Jamshedpur Blood Bank on Monday, the officials led by the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Hony Secretary Bijay Kumar Singh felicitated Satdeve for his humanitarian effort with a citation and memento. On the occasion Smita Nagesia, Deputy Collector and district protocol officer for Plasma Donation Sanjay Choudhury, Administrator, Jamshedpur Blood Bank and Prabhunath Singh, in-charge, Plasma Donation, IRCS were also present. Krisha Bhalotia, Trustee, Bharat Seva Foundation Trust which is also helping in the cause of plasma donation also felicitated Satdeve. Jamshedpur has till date seen record 226 plasma donations.
