Rajendra Vidyalaya students made aware of 3Rs’ on World Earth Day

Jamshedpur, April 22: On Earth Day-2022, the Eco Club of Rajendra Vidyalaya in Sakchi took up  the initiative to make the students aware of the concept of 3Rs’ – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.  This week long programme from 18th to 21st April, saw students of classes 1 to 10 collecting articles like E-Waste, plastic bottles, used or discarded pens, used  milk & oil packets among others.  School Principal Rakhi Banerjee along with Eco Club Moderator Kiran Sinha coordinated the activity by motivating the students and their parents. Disposable garbage bags were used to collect these articles, which were sent to an NGO – KORU Foundation for recycling.
