Rajendra Vidyalaya felicitates students at annual prize night

Jamshedpur, August 3: The Annual Prize Night of Rajendra Vidyalaya, Sakchi, Jamshedpur, took place on August 2, 2024, within the school premises. The event was organized under the guidance of Principal-In-Charge Piyali Mukherjee and teacher Savita Shukla. Senior in Charge Kiran Sinha and Junior In Charge D. Vani welcomed the Chief Guest, President of Bihar Association, B.N. Choudhary, along with Joint Secretary Bihar Association and School Secretary, Rajendra Vidyalaya, Amresh Sinha.

The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries, including Vice President of Bihar Association Dr. S.K. Singh and General Secretary C.P.N. Singh. Amresh Sinha introduced the Chief Guest, and Principal Piyali Mukherjee presented the Annual Report, highlighting the school’s achievements in academics and extracurricular activities.

Teachers, staff members, students, and their guardians attended the event, witnessing the distribution of prizes, awards, trophies, and certificates for the academic year 2023-2024. The students were celebrated with enthusiastic applause as they received their honors on stage.

Following the prize distribution, a cultural program featured a Vandana dance and a dance-drama on the theme “Evolution of Education in India.” The evening concluded with a vote of thanks by teacher Sweta Sahay and the National Anthem.
