Rajdhani Exp to stop at Muri from March 16

Jamshedpur: Bhubaneshwar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express Up and Down trains will be stopping at Muri Junction from 16th March onwards. An order to this effect has been passed by the South Eastern Railway Zone authorities, said sources at Tatanagar railway station.

Sources said the superfast train has got a new stoppage between Tatanagar and Bokaro railway stations on a trial basis. If there are sufficient number of passengers at Muri, the said train would get a permanent stoppage here. The DRM of Ranchi has been directed to book tickets for Rajdhani Express and submit a report on the sale of tickets and the revenue earned to the zonal headquarters, sources said.

Sources maintained that the new order would greatly relieve passengers of Jamshedpur, Ranchi and many adjoining districts who journey between New Delhi and Odisha.

Sources further said that the Railway department would open ticket centres near Radhaswami Satsang in Adityapur from 10th to 15th March. Thousands of devotees will be converging at the Satsang venue. They will be able to avail the benefit of the ticket centres, sources said.
