Jamshedpur, May 10: The land dispute in Rajasthan Sharma Hotel Dhatkidih, under the jurisdiction of the Bistupur police station area of Jamshedpur, has taken a significant twist as the second party involved has asserted its ownership claim. Shanawar Rehman, representing the second party, has alleged that the first party forcibly seized the land and provided his account regarding the ownership of the disputed land.
According to Rehman, he purchased the land from Durga Prasad Sharma and his family back in 1995. Since then, an old dilapidated house has stood on the land, and recent construction work commenced a few days ago. Rehman claims that despite a pending court case, the documents validate his rightful ownership of the land, and there are currently no legal disputes concerning the property. As a result, construction activities are being carried out on the land.
Rehman further alleges that Durga Prasad Sharma is enjoying the support of a prominent leader from the ruling party of Jharkhand, enabling him to perpetuate the controversy. He refutes all accusations against him, asserting that it is his family that faces threats in this dispute. Rehman invites the administration to conduct a thorough reinvestigation into the matter to uncover the truth.
