Railway to remove encroachments near Jugsalai Crossing

Jamshedpur, August 5: The Adityapur Engineering Department is set to launch an encroachment removal campaign near the Jugsalai railway crossing on August 7. This initiative, part of the Chakradharpur division’s efforts for foot overbridge and third line construction, follows previous anti-encroachment drives. Despite removing shops with plastic and bamboo fencing on three occasions, new encroachments have appeared shortly after.

Under the Tatanagar station expansion plan, the Railway Engineering Department has issued notices to several local shopkeepers to address the issue. The upcoming campaign aims to clear these encroachments once and for all to facilitate ongoing infrastructure improvements.
