Jamshedpur: In what could mean a big relief to railway passengers, booking of railway tickets has begun at Bistupur main post office and Telco post office. Now railway passengers may book their tickets at city booking counters in Bistupur, Telco and Mango.
According to RL Sinha, senior Postmaster of Bistupur Main Post Office, 70 tickets were booked by passengers on the first day.
It may be mentioned here that the Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM) of Chakradharpur Rail Division had recently announced to start ticket booking facility in the post offices across the city. More post offices would be included to provide ticket booking facility to the passengers, sources said.
