Railway Minister to visit Badampahar

Jamshedpur : In a significant move towards enhancing communication and technology in the railway sector, Minister of Railways, Communications, and Electronics & Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw, will commence his tour on November 20.
The tour kicks off with Vaishnaw’s departure from Delhi at 12:20 hrs on SG-8941, landing in Jharsuguda at 14:20 hrs. The journey continues with a series of events, including the flagging off of the Extension of Banaras Sambalpur Express at Sambalpur Railway Station, marking a pivotal step towards improved connectivity.
The day will conclude with a night halt at Badampahar Railway Station, emphasizing the Minister’s commitment to hands-on inspections and engagements with local railway developments.
Day two promises a packed schedule, beginning with a departure from Badampahar Guest House at 08:30 hrs. Vaishnaw will lead various programs focusing on railway and postal initiatives, underscoring the integrated approach towards modernizing transportation and communication networks.
A notable segment includes a Window Trailing Inspection from Rairangpur to Ranchi, showcasing the Minister’s dedication to firsthand assessments of railway infrastructure.
Ashwini Vaishnaw, under Y Category Security, is accompanied by Ved Prakash, OSD/MR. Stringent security measures and logistical arrangements, including accommodation, transport, and provision of security vehicles, have been put in place to ensure a seamless and secure tour.
