Railway employee’s scooty stolen in broad daylight, captured on CCTV

Jamshedpur, Feb 14: A railway employee’s scooty was stolen in broad daylight from outside Kalpana Medical in Parsudih market. The theft, which occurred around 11:45 AM on Friday, was captured on CCTV.

Rakesh Kumar, a railway employee residing at Maa Durga Apartment in Parsudih, had recently been transferred from Kerala. He had just returned from night duty when he went to buy emergency medicine for his ailing father. In his rush, he left the keys in the scooty. A masked thief was seen in the CCTV footage loitering near the vehicle before eventually riding away with it.

The theft took place in a busy area with people around, but the culprit managed to escape unnoticed. Rakesh Kumar has lodged a complaint with Parsudih police and the CCTV footage has been shared for investigation. Authorities are working to track down the thief and recover the stolen vehicle.
