Rail traffic disrupted as trains halted during Adivasi Sengel Campaign

Ranchi: In a show of protest under the Adivasi Sengel Campaign, several trains have come to a standstill at various locations, causing significant disruptions in railway traffic. The campaign has impacted railway operations near Kantadih and Sini in the Adra division. Trains were brought to a halt near stations including Bahalda Road, Maluka, and Gamharia in the Chakradharpur division, as well as in the Ranchi division.
The schedule disruptions were as follows:
Adra Division:
Trains were stopped at Kantadih station from 6:35 am to 9:45 am.
Chakradharpur Division:
Chandil station witnessed a halt from 10:55 am to 12:20 pm.
Near Gamharia station, trains were stopped from 10:40 am to 11:20 am.
A stoppage at Maluka station occurred from 11:10 am to 11:55 am.
Near Bahalda Road, a rail stoppage persisted from 8:15 am to 10:25 am.
Ranchi Division:
Rail roko movement took place near Gangaghat from 12 noon to 12:15 pm.
The rail roko movement and halting of trains during specific hours led to the cancellation of many trains.
