Jamshedpur, May 3: D. B. M. S. Lilliput School�s 8th Graduation Night was conducted on Wednesday, at D. B. M. S. School Hall. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Mrs. K. Uma, former Principal, D. B. M. S. Career Academy.
On this occasion farewell was given to the outgoing batch by the IXthers. All 45 students were honoured on the stage and all were presented mementos.
The Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of the school and motivated the students with her inspiring speech.
Mr. Lilliput award went Rahul Sharma and Ms. Lilliput award was bagged by Rita Gope. Mr. Confident award was won by Gopal Bouri and Ms. Confident was Madhuri Birua.
Pratima Pandey won the Ms. Graceful award followed by Tushar Mukhi who won the Mr. Handsome title. Best Dressed (Boys Category) was Vishal Pal and in the girls category it was Seema Gorai.
Welcome speech was presented by Mrs. Radha Srinivasan – Principal of D. B. M. S. Lilliput School. On this occasion B. Neelakantan, Chairperson – D. B. M. S. Board of Trustees; B. Chandrashekhar, Jt. Chairperson of D. B. M. S. Board of Trustees, Lalitha Chandrashekhar, Jt. Chairperson of D. B. M. S. Board of Trustees, Rajani Shekhar, President – D. B. M. S. Lilliput School and Principal of D. B. M. S. English School motivated the outgoing students with their inspiring speech.
Rahul Sharma, Roshni Pathak and Suman Nag shared their experiences and admired the efforts of the teachers as well as the School Managing Committee for their support, encouragement and grooming them which was beyond their imagination. Three of them assured the members on behalf of the students that they will commit themselves for the cause of education and continuously strive till they achieve the goal and spread the message for the fraternity of education. A dance was put up by the students of Std. IX and Fashion Parade contest was also organised for the Outgoing Batch.
