Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha leader Abhay Singh today criticized the MLA of Jamshedpur East Raghuvar Das for trying to claim credit for the distribution of water connection forms in the various bustis of the city.
�It is ironic to see that Raghuvar Das is distributing forms of Jusco water connection among residents of Nirmalnagar, Kanhu Bhatta and Long Tong Busti. Earlier he had accused the JVM of trying to ingratiate itself with private companies when our party proposed that the bustis should be provided water by Jusco,� said the JVM leader.
Singh said the MLA was trying to claim credit for the water distribution without doing anything. He said Das had a different attitude to the water and power problems of the busti residents when he was the state urban development minister.
The JVM leader said the JVM had been demanding water and power supply for the people of various bustis in the city for a long time. Now time has come when the busti residents will get water. Power problem will also be taken up for finding a similar solution, he said.
�It is both surprising and shocking to find such a senior leader trying desperately to claim credit for the work of others. This is not becoming of a former deputy CM. JVM on the other hand is trying its best to get the problems of people solved as soon as possible,� said Singh.
