Raghubar Das seeks blessings from Guruji Shibu Soren and Roopi Soren

Ranchi, Jan 11: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das visited Dishom Guru Shibu Soren at his residence on Saturday, January 11, to extend birthday wishes and seek blessings. This meeting came a day after Raghubar Das rejoined active politics with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

During the visit, Raghubar Das also met Shibu Soren’s wife, Roopi Soren, presenting her with a bouquet and receiving her blessings. The meeting, held at Guruji’s government residence, was marked by warmth and camaraderie. Both leaders appeared in high spirits, engaging in a cheerful conversation while seated outdoors in the sun.

Sharing the news on social media platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), Raghubar Das posted four pictures capturing moments from the meeting. Two photos featured him with Shibu Soren, including one where he sought blessings. The other two photos showed him interacting with Roopi Soren, who blessed him warmly.

In his post, Raghubar Das referred to Shibu Soren as “respectable Baba” and wrote, “Today I met Dishom Guru, former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, respectable Baba Shri Shibu Soren Ji, and wished him a happy birthday. I also sought blessings from aunt Mrs. Roopi Soren Ji.” He added a prayer for their long and healthy lives, likening their bond to that of Shiva and Parvati.

Raghubar Das served as Jharkhand’s Chief Minister from 2014 to 2019 and later as the Governor of Odisha. Having recently resigned from the gubernatorial role, he rejoined BJP on January 10, marking his return to active politics
