Jamshedpur Police on high alert for Holi and Eid
Jamshedpur: With Holi and Eid approaching, Jamshedpur police have ramped up security to maintain law and order during the celebrations. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishore Kaushal has directed officials to take strict action against any miscreants or anti-social elements attempting to disrupt peace.
To ensure effective enforcement, policemen have been equipped with radium jackets, making them easily identifiable while on duty. Additionally, Shakti Commando teams, along with Quick Response Teams (QRT), PCR units, and the Tango bike squad, have been deployed across the district to monitor sensitive areas and patrol high-footfall zones.
The security briefing took place at the Composite Control Room in Sakchi, where the SSP issued detailed instructions to all personnel. Special focus has been placed on preventing criminal activities and responding swiftly to emergencies.
Authorities have urged citizens to celebrate responsibly and cooperate with law enforcement. Any attempt to disturb public order will be dealt with strictly, ensuring a safe and peaceful festive atmosphere for all.
