Jamshedpur, March 13: The Indian Radiology and Imaging Association (IRIA), Jharkhand state chapter, organized a seminar on ‘Radiology’ at a Sakchi hotel on Sunday.
The seminar was inaugurated by Dr. SK Jha, civil surgeon of East Singhbhum district. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Jha said such seminars should be organized t regular intervals so that radiologists get an opportunity to become aware of new changes in the radiology.
Guest speaker at the event, DR. Manoj Jain, senior radiologists from Kolkata, informed the radiologists from all over Jharkhand about the major changes taking place and criticized the evil practice of killing girl child. He appealed the society to help save the girl child.
Dr. Neeraj Kumar, secretary of association’s Jamshedpur chapter said, “The main motive of the seminar was to make the radiologists from different parts of Jharkhand aware of the new technological developments in radiology.
Significantly, in radiology new development takes place time to time and there is a need to make the radiologists aware of it.”
