Jamshedpur, May 8: The joyous occasions of Rabindranath Jayanti and Mother’s Day were celebrated at Lajpat Public School on May 8, 2024. The occasion called for songs, dances and other cultural activities presented by teachers and students in celebration of the dual events.
The festivities commenced with the lighting of the traditional lamp and garlanding of Gurudev rabindranath’s portrait by all attending mothers. Vinod Arora, Chairman of Siksha Samiti, graced the occasion as the chief guest, offering inspirational words that served as an energy booster for all present.
To commemorate Mother’s Day, engaging activities such as mischief games and dance performances were organized, adding to the festive spirit. The program was spearheaded by the Blue House (Rana Pratap), with Principal Ranjit Ghosh being credited for the brilliant idea.
Teacher Shilpa Sharma coordinated the program, while Teacher Ritu Gurmeet Singh hosted the proceedings
