Pre-Primary students transform school into lively Vrindavan

Jamshedpur, August 26: R.V.S. Academy on Dimna Road, Mango, Jamshedpur, celebrated Krishna Janmashtami on Monday with a vibrant and spiritually enriching event. The school premises transformed into a lively Vrindavan as Pre-Primary students dressed as little Krishna and Radha brought the celebration to life. The beautifully decorated Krishna swing with Bal Gopal was the centrepiece, symbolizing the divine aura of the occasion.

The event began with the lighting of the lamp by the Chairman of the school, Binda Singh, who praised the efforts of the students and teachers in organizing the meaningful celebration. He remarked, “The dedication and creativity shown by our young learners today is truly commendable. This celebration is not just for having fun but also an opportunity to instil the teachings and values of Lord Krishna in our children.”
The highlight of the day was a captivating dance-drama performed by the Pre-Primary students, portraying key episodes from Lord Krishna’s life, including his miraculous birth and his triumph over King Kansa. The students also sang devotional songs, such as “Bada Natkhat Hai Yeh Kishan Kanhaiya,” and reenacted Krishna’s playful “Makhan Chori” and Raas Leela, delighting the audience.
The event was attended by the Principal, Visha Mohindra, Vice Principal, Anita Tiwari, teachers, and students. In her address, Visha Mohindra emphasized the importance of cultural festivals in schools as a means to preserve heritage and promote unity and devotion among students. The celebration was a joyous reflection of the school’s commitment to cultural education and community spirit.
