Jamshedpur, Nov 21: The Purvi Singhbhum Zila Agarwal Sammelan (PSZAS) has announced its election schedule for the term 2024–26. General Secretary Abhishek Agrawal Goldy shared in a press release that the process to elect the President for the upcoming two-year term has been initiated as the current tenure has concluded.
Senior advocate Rajiv Agrawal has been appointed Chief Election Officer, with advocate Anshul Ringasia and Marwari Yuva Manch Jamshedpur Branch President Ashwini Agrawal serving as Co-Election Officers.
Election Timeline:
- Nomination Papers: Available on December 2, 2024, from 4 PM to 6 PM.
- Submission Deadline: December 3, 2024.
- Scrutiny and Initial Candidate List: December 4, 2024.
- Withdrawal of Nominations & Final Candidate List: December 5, 2024.
- Election and Voting: December 8, 2024, from 2 PM to 6 PM at Chamber Bhawan, Bistupur, Jamshedpur.
The election process, including the declaration of results and issuance of certificates to winners, will conclude on the same day.
Guidelines for Candidates and Voters:
- Nomination Fee: ₹2,500 per set.
- Voter List Fee: ₹200 per set.
- Identification Requirements: Candidates must attach a self-signed photocopy of their government-issued ID with their nomination form. Voters must present a government ID photocopy at the polling station.
- Nomination Process: Candidates must personally handle the receipt, deposit, and withdrawal of nomination forms.
Pre-election tasks will be managed at ‘Shrestam,’ Baradwari, Jamshedpur. In case of disputes, the Chief Election Officer’s decisions will be binding and final, with provisions for special instructions as needed.
