Bail to Anand Singh in Jamshedpur’s Manjit Singh murder case

Jamshedpur: On Thursday, the court of ADJ-1 Vimlesh Kumar Sahay granted bail to Anand Singh, accused in the Sidgora murder case of Manjit Singh alias Vicky. Co-accused Rohit Singh and Karamjit Singh had already secured bail from the Jharkhand High Court. The accused had been in custody since January 22, following the incident on January 18.

According to Jagdeep Kaur, who witnessed the incident, she was heading to the market with her husband when the accused confronted and assaulted her brother-in-law, Jagdeep alias Golu, and Manjit Singh alias Vicky. When she intervened, the accused allegedly threatened her with a pistol. Both injured victims were taken to TMH for treatment, where Manjit Singh succumbed to his injuries.

Defense advocates KM Singh and Vansh Savlok represented Anand Singh in the bail hearing.
