Jamshedpur, July 21: Vidhut Varan Mahato met Railway minister Suresh Prabhu in Delhi and held talks related to several of his demands.
Prabhu consented for Purushottam express stoppage at Ghatsila Railway Station and also approved for halt at Sidirsai and Chirugoda.
Regarding Purushottam’s extension till Jaipur, Railway minister said, they will soon take steps in this direction and if there are any technical issues then Howrah, Santragachi to Jaipur trains will be run via Tatanagar.
Suresh Prabhu further said that he will think over the starting of new trains between Tatanagar-Howrah.
Regarding stoppage of Janshatabdi at Ghatsila Railway Station, minister gave a positive assurance while for Tata-Jaynagar and Tata-Buxar they would ask for a proposal from South Eastern Railway.
