Jamshedpur, Aug 30: Sonari police arrested one Golu Kumar for allegedly snatching the purse of a woman in Sonari.
Cops said the accused, a resident of Gurudwara Basti, Sakchi, had snatched the purse of Shobha Ghosh, resident of Adarsh Nagar, Phase 1, Sonari, on Monday evening. Shobha was going out of her house for shopping in the evening when the accused, riding a bike, came there and snatched her purse. Shobha raised an alarm and was soon attended by a patrol team of Sonari PS present nearby. Cops chased the accused and arrested him from Sonari. They have also seized his bike.
