Purse snatched from woman in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, April 26: Three unidentified motorcycle-borne criminals snatched a purse from a woman near TRF company under Burmamines police station area on Sunday last, police said.

According to sources, the incident took place around 5.45 pm when the victim, a resident of Telco, was on her way home with her husband Ravi Shankar Das, on a motorcycle. Midway, the criminals came closer to the couple’s bike and snatched the purse from the woman’s hand. The victim was saved from falling on the road in the incident.

Later, Das registered a complaint with the Burmamines police station. Cops said they were scanning CCTV footage of the area to get clues about the looters.
