Jamshedpur, Oct 23: BJP candidate Purnima Sahu will file her nomination papers for the Jamshedpur East Assembly seat today. The BJP has planned an elaborate and grand ceremony for the occasion, with senior party leaders and NDA leaders expected to attend. Thousands of BJP workers and supporters from all seven mandals under the East Assembly will gather at Agrico’s Transport Ground under the leadership of Mandal Presidents.
BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar District General Secretary Sanjeev Singh stated, “Our workers, right from the Mandal to booth levels, are fully engaged to ensure Purnima Sahu’s nomination is historic. This nomination marks the beginning of BJP’s Vijay Yatra, and we are all excited to take this first step toward victory in the upcoming elections.”
The program will begin at 9 AM, with senior leaders, youth, and women workers assembling at Agrico Transport Ground. The supporters will then proceed to Sheetla Mata Temple in Bhalubasa, where Purnima Sahu will seek blessings before filing her nomination during the auspicious Vijay Muhurta at 10 AM. Singh added, “We appeal to all BJP workers and supporters to participate in large numbers and strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this crucial campaign.”
