Pulkit Jhunjhunwala new chair of CII-Yi Jamshedpur chapter

Jamshedpur, Dec 23: The Young Indians (Yi) Jamshedpur chapter of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) celebrated their annual day here on Thursday at a city hotel. New chair and co-chair for the year 2022 for the chapter were nominated during the event.

On the occasion, Pulkit Jhunjhunwala  took over as the chair of Yi, Jamshedpur chapter while Pratik Agarwal as the new co-chair.

Addressing the entrepreneurs, the chief guest, Chanakya Chaudhary, vice president, corporate services, Tata Steel, motivated them to adopt sustainable means of living. He said that in their professional life as well as in their personal life they must take steps to promote environmental initiatives. The vice president also lauded the initiatives taken by the chapter to fight Covid-19.    

Young Indians (Yi) is an integral part of the CII and was formed in 2002 with an objective of creating a platform for young Indians to realize the dream of a developed nation. It has around 1800 direct members in 34 city chapters across 23 states and engages around 11000 students through its institutional network under its brand ‘Yuva’. The membership of Yi includes young progressive Indians between the age group of 21 and 40s and comprises entrepreneurs, professionals and achievers from different walks of life.

The event was also addressed by Rohit Goyal, chair, YI Jamshedpur. He said that Yi works effectively for promoting leadership skills for the development of its members through the learning programs, the development and engagement of students in schools and colleges through its net platform.

On the occasion Vishal Agarwalla, chair YI Eastern Region and Tapas Kumar Sahu, vice chairman, CII Jharkhand also extended their warm wishes to the new team.
