Jamshedpur: Potka MLA Menka Sardar on Sunday stressed the need to spread greater public awareness regarding the development and welfare projects and schemes being implemented by the Central and state governments. She said the people of her constituency should be informed about the benefits of these schemes.
�Unless and until people know about the government schemes and policies, they will not be in a position to appreciate the same. Party workers should reach out to the people in their respective areas to ensure publicity of government�s good work,� said the MLA while addressing party workers at a review meeting held at the Hata office of BJP.
The meeting was convened to review the work being done by the party workers in the six Mandal units of Potka assembly constituency. District BJP president Dinesh Kumar was also present on the occasion. He sought updates from party leaders of different areas including Bagbera, Ghaghidih, Sundernagar, Asanbani, Potka and Kovali.
Among others present on the occasion included Chandrashekhar Gupta, Abhay Choubey, Sandeep Sharma, Sudeep Dey, Pintu Sarangi, Dinesh Sardar and Ganesh Vishwakarma.
