Jamshedpur: A fierce protest march was organized in Sakchi by the Sanatan Utsav Samiti in response to the Pakistan-sponsored Islamic terrorism that led to the targeted massacre of Hindu pilgrims in Pahalgam. The march was led by the Samiti’s founder, Chintu Singh, who said, “It is the duty of every patriot to expose Pakistan’s filthy mentality at every platform.”
During the march, protesters collected trash and set fire to the Pakistani national flag at Sakchi’s main roundabout. Before burning the flag, people spat on it, showing their anger. Hundreds of people, holding saffron flags and anti-Pakistan placards, raised slogans like “Pakistan Murdabad” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.” The streets of Sakchi echoed with patriotic fervor and outrage.
Organizers demanded strict action against Pakistan for its involvement in terror activities. Prominent figures like Dr. Rajeev, Kumar Sandesh, Kanhaiya Singh and others participated in the event.
Candle march in Jamshedpur for Pahalgam attack martyrs
Jamshedpur: A candlelight march was held in Jamshedpur to pay tribute to the Indian citizens who were martyred in the Pahalgam terrorist attack. The march started from Golmuri Golchakkar and ended at Shaheed Smarak Golmuri. Led by Lalan Yadav, president of the East Singhbhum District Youth National Janata Dal, Kamlesh Yadav and Baldev Singh Mehra, president of the Minority Cell, the event saw active participation from many National Janata Dal officials, workers and citizens.
The march aimed to offer condolences to the souls of the martyrs and to express solidarity with their families. The participants also expressed their support for the government’s action against terrorism. Dinesh Paswan, Akhilesh Kumar and others attended the event, emphasizing unity and peace in the wake of such attacks. (w/nkm)
